A seemingly simple question has so much impact. I raised this question with deep sincerity to someone this past week and they were so surprised that it surprised me:-)
It started out as a question and it led to so much more. Helping others has an impact far greater than we can ever realize. In this instance it led to a conversation and learning more about one another than we’d previously known. What is even better, it led to a different perspective toward each other. An understanding that life is better lived when we work together.
We were not adversaries by any means prior to our encounter. Yet, this simple question opened the door to collaboration and unity. It does not always take grand gestures. A simple act of kindness can go a long way.
